  • Chris Evans

    CEO

    The mind behind it all, Chris has owned Sangiovese since the summer of 2007. After a rich history of restaurant ownership, he went all in to Sangiovese and never looked back! With a heartfelt emphasis on culture and atmosphere, Chris has fostered a community that feels like family - in our staff and customers alike! He continues to wow the Indy food scene with well curated dining experiences, from unique wine offerings to beautifully crafted spaces. Word on the street is, there may be something new he is cooking up….(;

    Chris also loves to travel and spend time with his wife and children, whether it’s snowboarding, wine tasting, or just enjoying a meal with his crew.

  • Connie Lyttle

    Administrative Director

    Where would we be without Connie? A beloved long time employee, Connie started working here as a bartender in 2007, while studying at IUPUI. (Fun fact - she worked with us at Ironworks through both of her pregnancies - and her boys are now teenagers!)

    She is now the queen of the behind the scenes that allows Sangiovese to be what it is. And though she’s not bartending anymore, she could still set you up with your new favorite beverage - her’s being a nice glass of Brunello.

    You may have heard of “Chef Cisco’s heat” - the best part of our meatballs! Well here he is, Francisco Garcia! The mastermind of our menu. He has crafted a menu full of favorites and timeless classics, but also continues to wow us with his always evolving specials!

  • Jessica Lee

    General Manager The Yard

    Jessica is the manager at our Fishers location! She is full of energy and wit, and has a deep care for the customer experience.

    Jessica also started working for Sangiovese as a bartender, so she as a specific knack for finding just the right bottle of wine for anyone who is in need of a little guidance.

  • Brad Deeter

    Manager The Yard

    Brad has worked at the Fishers location since it opened! Passionate about hospitality, he's worked in the service industry for 18 years. He continues to expand his love for the restaurant world at Sangiovese through relationships, loving especially when customers come back time & again.

    In his free time, you can find Brad traveling, spending time with family, or watching soccer (Especially Manchester City!)

  • Nena Tursi

    General Manager Ironworks

    Nena Tursi is not only a well loved manager here at Ironworks, but is also self proclaimed “wine nerd”! She fell in love with wine in 2018 and has impressively earned 2 wine certifications since then (Level One Cert through Court of Master Sommeliers & Level Two through Wine & Spirits Education Trust) She has rich appreciation for a good meal (her husband is a chef!) - and also has an art history degree!

    Josie Clark

    Assistant Manager, Ironworks

    Josie started working here at Sangiovese in the summer of 2021. Josie works at our Ironworks location and has a gift for creating a calm, joyful dining experience.

    Fun fact- she went to school for journalism! She continues to write for a small newspaper covering local news.

    Martin has worked for Sangiovese for six years! He keeps things moving in the kitchen with ease, and always brings joy to the kitchen!

    When he isn’t making beautiful Italian dishes with us, he can make an impressive taco at home. He also loves the Colts!

    Jose has been working with Sangiovese for eight years, working at the Ironworks location! You can always count on him to crack a joke or two throughout a shift (;

    He works hard to keep our kitchen efficient and consistant!
